cedar sun terrace
Natural Cedar decking has been used in this Buckingham garden to create rooms at different levels. The existing level change enabled steps to be used to link the different rooms, bringing interest to a square plot. Planting pockets cut into the decking give enclosure & in time, privacy.

Client Brief
The contemporary garden room has fold back doors that open right up. The top deck is finished at the same level as the garden room so that you can walk straight out onto the terrace. Cedar decking was chosen for it's long, maintenance free life. The timber has been laid at different angles to break up the straight lines and also gives the impression of entering different areas as you move around the terrace.
