Client Brief
The open plan nature of this estate near Great Missenden meant that there was a feeling of being overlooked while in the house. The Yew hedging serves two purposes, it creates more privacy when the house is viewed from the road and at the same time gives a backdrop to the planting while in the garden. This design required patience to see it come to fruition, the Yew is slow growing and while this makes maintenance easy it means it takes a few years for the garden to mature.
