chiltern garden
This beautiful 17th Century country home set on top of the Chiltern hills now enjoys a formal courtyard garden. Natural tumbled stone compliments the house & planting scheme of white roses, peonies, pale blue iris & geraniums.

Client Brief
The existing area of this substantial garden didn't match this beautiful home. The terrace was mainly laid with crazy paving which made the garden appear stark. Several level changes made the area feel awkward. The design needed to bring the house & garden together, whilst adding interest with seating areas, a water feature, summer house & year round interest in the planting.
